ABOUT BULLDOG RACING
Bulldog Racing is the University of Minnesota Duluth's chapter of Formula SAE. Our team is 100% student-led and funded by industry sponsors. Every year students design, build, test, and race a formula style race car. Bulldog Racing team members gain unique engineering and leadership experience, which is applicable across multiple engineering disciplines.
What Do We Do?
Formula SAE is an international collegiate design competition organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers, wherein students design and build an open-wheeled, open-cockpit, formula style race car. We are scored on our vehicle’s performance in multiple dynamic events and on our development process, in which industry experts judge both design choices and business logic. The competition is held at the Michigan International Speedway and consists of 120+ teams from around the world.
